Photo charter: nailing the macros of your lots
Updated 2026-07-11
Why photos matter
On the order book, the photo is the first quality signal. A sharp, neutral shot builds trust and speeds up the buying decision.
The rules
- White or very light background: essential — our listings show the specimen as if under a lab lamp.
- Tight framing on the product, macro if possible (trichomes visible for flowers).
- High resolution: at least 1000 px per side, sharp, no blur.
- Even lighting, no hard shadows or glare.
- No brand or producer label visible (anonymity guaranteed).
Avoid
Dark or coloured backgrounds, filters, montages. A raw, honest photo beats a retouched visual.
