Since 2022, Czechia has applied one of the most open frameworks in Europe: "technical hemp" and its extracts up to 1% THC are excluded from the narcotics regime. Since July 2025, the Psychomodulatory Substances Act has governed retail sale of low-THC hemp products through licensed shops restricted to adults 18+. Ingestible CBD products remain subject to the EU Novel Food Regulation. (EN)
